Over a week ago we were eating dinner. Mia was finished so I got her out of her high chair so she could play. Jay and I were discussing how she is a "pill" and I was telling Jay that she is going to be our kid that is always getting hurt!(I promise this is really what we were talking about.) So we hear a choking/coughing noise, Jay gets up and sees little Mia downing the benadryl. Grrrr...so we call poison control they tell us she has to go the the ER. You cannot induce vomiting, or get your stomach pumped. It will speed up your heart rate and if too much is ingested she could go into cardiac arrest! Alright, alright they scared us enough. So Jay packs a bag w/ a baby, some books and a sipper and is out the door. He spent like 5 hours there so they could "watch" her and yes, she is fine. She is a STINK!

I have had the exact same thing with Gunnar only instead of Benadryl it was some berries he ate of a bush at my moms house. The really good part is after insurance we still owed $700 and all they did was watch him!
HOLY CRAP!!! That is so freaky! I'm glad she's ok. She is one stinkin cute kid. It's comforting to know that every family has one that is in to everything. Shayde decided to spray the fire extinguisher in her eyes...that was a fun trip to the ER.
