So our trip to Idaho was sooo much fun. We got to do some fun things, and we especially liked hanging out with Jay's family. We got home a few days ago and I have been putting off blogging about it because there's so much to post about, so here are about a million pics. of what we did in no particular order........
Jay and I had the opportunity to go thru a session in the new Rexburg temple. Isn't it beautiful? We went with his parents and his brother Morris and his wife Heidi. What was so awesome about it was that Jay's old mission president, President Christensen is the temple president there. So we ran into them and they gave "us" the real tour, and told us alot of neat things about this particular temple. What an experience...I will never forget it, and it was also neat to sit in his office and just talk with he and his wife.
One day we packed up the kids and Jay's dad and headed up to Yellowstone. It is only like an hour away from Ashton.... CRAZY! Anyways we froze our buns off there but had a really good time and ended it all off with OLD FAITHFUL....

Just a silly pic. of Mia...she would not put the "play" utensils down she LOVED them.

Ketti, and Jens....fun cousins
Jay's family has made it a family tradition(like the last 3 years) to spend Labor Day weekend at this beautiful lake called Hebgon Lake. It is amazing! This year was our first year actually making it and it was a good time....except getting eatin alive by mosquitoes! Anyways Jay's Dad decided he needed to buy a sailboat, so everyone enjoyed riding around in that and the canoe. While we were there we also had a Bday party for Max. Jay's parents bought a pinata to hang which was fun to watch the kids almost kill each other swinging away and Heidi(jay's sis) bought Max the funniest bday hat which he sported in the xmas card picture.:) It was such a good trip, but were glad to be home......We LOVE IDAHO!
