What we've been doing.

Well I have been the blogging slacker. We went to AZ 2 weeks ago to get my hair done, and help my mom get ready for school. Max was lucky enough to stay with Aunt Kellie so I could go and help my mom. I now get to hear how much he "loves Aunt Kellie, and Abbie and Jack are his best friends!" I love Aunt Kellie too because there is no way that we would have gotten as much done w/ Max there, so THANKS KELLIE, I owe you! So we worked in my moms classroom for 3 or 4 long days, I can't remember. All I know is being a teacher is WAY too much work. I mean seriously the time you put in compared to what you get paid is ridiculous. My mom is an amazing teacher and is probably setting us all up to have these really high expectations for our kids teacher when they start school, when in reality I don't know another teacher who does as much as she does.....maybe we should all send our kids to Grammie and Papas to live for their first year of school? :)

Then we came home and had the pleasure of having Jay's parents here for a few days! They have never been to Farmington, and it had been since Thanksgiving since we've seen them so the visit was long overdue on both ends. We didn't really do much but just hang out, and Jay didn't even get to see them at all because he was out working which was a bummer! Max LOVED the attention as did Mia. Max tells me everyday that he is moving to Idaho with Grandma and Grandpa Christensen....and I say, "Ok, lets go!....we love Idaho, and miss it!"

Then Max started pre-school again yesterday! Yay....he's so happy and mommy is soooo happy. He is going 3 days a week this year, and were so excited that it's FINALLY here! Well that is really all we've been up too! Were headed to Idaho next week, and are counting down the days. Here's a pic. of Max on his first day of school, and of Mia hanging out at Grammie and Papas!

When did he get so big?

Just hanging out!
